The global mining merger to pick up in Q1 next year

September 8 MetalBiz--With the recovery of the global economy, the metal prices also presented a sharp rebound. Some analysts pointed out that the merger and acquisition in the global mining would begin to pick up in Q1 next year.

Since this year, the merger amount in the global mining decreased more than 50% year on year. Ewan Lilford, financial consultant from Deloitte as well as the executive in mining sector of Australia said, with the recovery of global economy, the acquisition businesses in the mining giants would gradually increase and small and medium miming enterprises would be stronger through merger, adding the global acquisition would pick up in the end of Q1 next year.

It is understood that the metal prices had soared more than 60% since this year. Richardson, chief metal economist from Morgan Stanley expressed, the mining merger would accelerate and the historical data also showed that the merger had something with the price tendency.
