The current Taiwan stainless steel market is unclear

Sep. 4 MetalBiz--The nickel price this month returned to US$18,250 per ton again since the nickel price climbed to US$20,000 in July.

Due to the sluggish demand from the Taiwan market, YUSCO and Tang Eng decided to increase the domestic price of 300 series stainless steel.

However, as the overseas demand was improving, YUSCO brought up the exporting prices of 300 series and 400 series stainless steel by respectively US$60 per ton and US$30-50 per ton.

In China mainland, the prices of both carbon steel and stainless steel declined. It is said that most buyers hold the wait-and-see attitude towards the market trend in the near future.
