Egypt rebar demand better than the pevious same period

Sep. 1 MetalBiz--During the Ramadan period, Egypt rebar demand is better than the level of the same period in former years. Steel mills' lifting price is favorable to pushing up demand. But it is difficult to judge that the demand is from end-users or dealers makeup for the inventories. Because the raw material price is hiking, Ezz probably further increases its prices. CIS offers billet at US$460-470 per ton (CFR). Egypt imports a small amount of rebar.
