Chalco raises alumina prices by 6.3 pct

HONG KONG, Sept 1 - Aluminum Corp of China Ltd (Chalco) raised spot alumina prices by 6.3 percent to 2,550 yuan ($373.3) per tonne from Tuesday, the second hike in just about one month, according to its website. (www.chalco.com.cn)

Chalco, the country's top aluminium firm and the world's third-largest alumina producer, increased spot alumina prices by 4.3 percent to 2,400 yuan on Aug. 1. ($1=6.830 Yuan)
