SHANGHAI, Aug 25 (Reuters) - Aluminium Corp of China (Chalco) (2600.HK)(601600.SS) expects global aluminium prices to hold in a range of $1,800 to $2,300 a tonne for the rest of the year, the company's president Luo Jianchuan said on Tuesday.
The LME aluminium price MAL3 is trading around $1,920 a tonne.
Domestic prices were expected to range from 14,000 yuan ($2,049) to 16,000 yuan per tonne, Luo told a news conference.
