Chun Yuan Steel expects better in Q3
Published: 20 Aug 2009 23:30:25 PSTAugust 21 MetalBiz--Chun Yuan Steel, one of the major steel slitting center and construction company in Taiwan expects that its sales in the third quarter to become better than the prior quarter due to the released government's popular construction projects.
Chun Yuan said their steel slitting business still slows down; however, the demand from the popular construction projects is stronger than in the first half year of 2009.
The company expects the Taiwanese government is likely to have more popular construction projects to launch in the fourth quarter; therefore, they have discussed with their consumers to pick up their merchandise or to start their construction ahead of their schedule.
Chun Yuan also noted the company will be able to make the profit in this quarter and cover the company's losses in the first half year of 2009.
