Japan scrap export volume rose
Published: 18 Aug 2009 00:21:24 PSTAugust 18 MetalBiz--In the first half year of 2009, Japan exported 5.552mln tons of scrap, up 74.1% year on year.
Among them, the export volume of Chiba port was 686,000 tons, accounting for 12.4% of the total, up 127.3% month on month; and that of Kawasaki port was 409,000 tons, making for 7.4%, up 106.3% month on month.
