August 6 MetalBiz--Turkish exporters tried to promote the export offer of debar in Middle East due to the rising of steel scrap. It is said that the delivery price of debar for September was U.S.$ 490-500 per ton (CFR, Persian Gulf), but the transaction was little, while the reached price three week ago was U.S.$ 470-480 per ton.
At present, the Turkish domestic debar price is falling, together with the dropping demand of Persian Gulf in the past three weeks, so the buyers believed that to increase the price may not be accepted and steel mills may be forced to reduce production.
At the same time, the offer of debar suppliers in United Arab Emirates decreased from the 1,825-1,900 dirhams / ton of last month to 1,825-1,900 dirhams / ton (U.S.$502-571 per ton).
