BHP Billiton: no change to China iron ore shipping
Published: 04 Aug 2009 17:55:51 PSTKALGOORLIE, Australia, Aug 5 - Global miner BHP Billiton <BHP.AX> <BLT.L> on Wednesday declined comment on iron ore price negotiations with Asian steel makers, but said there had been no change to its iron ore shipping schedule to China.
Annual contract price talks with Chinese steel mills have stalled as China drives hard for a bigger price reduction than the 33 percent cut already agreed with some steelmakers in South Korea and Japan.
