US steel inventory at the end of June set a record lower again

July 20 MetalBiz--At the end of June, the steel stock of US metal service center reach 598,000,000 tons, down 7.4% than at the end of May month on month, decreasing 44.4% year on year, a month-on-month decline for the successive 11 months, setting the lowest level since the data record.

The delivery of US service center in June was 246.000.000 tons, down 41.8% over the same period of last year, up 9.3% than May month on month. According to delivery days, the steel stock of June was 2.5 months' supply, that of at the end of June for 2.5 months, that of at the end of May for 2.9 months. The number of months stock can supply are the lowest level since June, 2008.

Till the end of June, the accumulative delivery of US service center in 2009 is 14.8mln tons, down 43.9% month on month.
