New oil refinery complex project in Malaysia to boost steel demand

July 16 MetalBiz--According to the report, Malaysian new oil refinery complex project under the Northern Corridor Economic Region (NCER) will start recently.

The new project, including a US$10bln refinery plant and US$700mln oil tanks, will favor the oil&gas industries and local steel industries.

The oil refinery complex project which is conducted by Malaysian Merapoh Resources and its strategic partner, China National Petroleum Corp. aims to output 200,000 barrels per day by 2013.
