NALCO sells aluminium ingots at $83/T premium-source
Published: 15 Jul 2009 19:01:44 PSTMUMBAI, July 15 (Reuters) - India's National Aluminium Co Ltd (NALU.BO) sold 4,000 tonnes of aluminium ingots at $83 per tonne premium to the LME cash price on a CIF basis, a senior company source said on Wednesday.
The company also sold 2,000 tonnes of aluminium sows at $82.5 a tonne premium over LME, said the official, who had direct knowledge of the deal but could not be named.
Shipment of the goods will start this month and would be concluded by October, the official added.
