Recent CIS pig iron export quotation hikes U.S.$10

July 3 MetalBiz-CIS pig iron export trading price increased U.S.$10 per ton and it is expected to continue climb in accordance to the new offers.

A manufacture from Ukraine said that it will ship 20,000-30,000tons of pig iron to China and Turkey in total in August, with the price of U.S.$240-250 per ton (FOB), while the previous price was U.S.$230-240 per ton (FOB). However, currently there is no order from Europe.

A Ukraine trader added that most buyers have prepared to accept to produce in Sep. and made shipment in October with the price of U.S.$260 per ton (FOB).
