China's heavy plate exported to S. Korea offer up

July.3 MetalBiz-Recently, the offer of China's heavy plate exported to S. Korea continues to rise. 3 weeks ago, Shagang's heavy plate offer was US$505 per ton (CFR), the recent offer of WISCO is US$525 per ton (CFR), up US$20 per ton than Shagang.

Insiders of South Korea stated, "China has recently begun to adjust up the ordinary plate offer, but the rate of won against the U.S. dollar began to rise, and therefore it is hard to import at US$525 per ton." In July (May contract amount), the number of the heavy plate to be arrived is over 30,000 tons, with the contract price of US$450-460 per ton.
