EU will levy 24% anti-dumping duties on China's wire rod

Jun.24 MetalBiz--European Iron and Steel Union (Eurofer) on June 23 said, the EU has decided to levied 24% anti-dumping duties on wire rod imported from China. EU Anti-Dumping Committee on June 18 decided to levy anti-dumping tariffs.

Axel Eggert, Eurofer spokesman said that the measures will be entered into force after formally released in the EU Official Journal (Official Journalofthe European Union), maybe begin to implement from August 2009, valid for a period of 5 years.
