BHP Billiton and JFE reached iron ore contract price

June 15 MetalBiz-Japan second largest steel company JFE had reached 2009 iron ore contract price with Australian BHP Billiton, thereinto, the powder ore price dropped 33% and lump ore reduced 44.47%, which is the same to the price previously concluded by Rio Tinto and Asian steel mills not including Chinese mainland.

As for this news, BHP Billiton and JFE did not make a comment, while the negotiations between Japan Nippon and POSCO and etc. are in processing.
