Chinese steel mills plan to lift prices for Q3 shipment

Published: 21 May 2009 02:14:52 PST

May 21 MetalBiz--It is reported that larger Chinese steel mills will raise their prices for the shipment from July to September.

For example, Ansteel will hike their price for June shipment because their price of CRC and HRC is much lower than the market price. At the same time, Baosteel will announce their price of July will increase by US$15~30 per ton.

Besides, the Chinese government limits the output of Chinese steel production and suggests to remove some small furnaces under 300 square meters.
