CIS tried to increase HR export quotation for China

Mar.31MetalBiz--CIS coil&plate manufacturers tried to increase HR export quotation for China. However, in view of the current unstable Chinese domestic market, Chinese buyers can not accept higher prices.
It's learned that both Russia and Ukraine tried to increase HR quotation to 390-400 dollars per ton (CFR), up 15 dollars per ton than two weeks ago, and some steel mills even ceased to quote price. The reasons why they wanted to increase quotation were not only depreciation of the dollar but also output reduction and more orders. When Russia manufacturers received substantial May orders, they also tried to increase their quotation.
