The State Council decided to enhance the export rebate rate.

Premier Wen Jiabao chaired a State Council executive meeting on Mar.25. He examined and approved the view that we should advance Shanghai to develop the modern servicing industry,advanced manufacturing and the establishment of international financial centre and international shipping centre, and determined to increase most products export rebate rate.

The meeting held that it was necessary to increase some products export rebate rate, owing to coping with the international financial crisis and promoting economic growth, which could facilitate to implement industry adjustment plan. The meeting decided to improve products export rebate rate, such as part of the textile and garment, light industry, iron and steel, nonferrous metals, petrochemical and electronic information products from April1, 2009.
