UDPATE 1-Indonesia Danamon CEO to resign - stock exchange filing

JAKARTA, Jan 25 - The president director of Indonesia's PT Bank Danamon, Sebastian Paredes, has submitted his resignation, the bank said in a filing to the stock exchange on Monday.

"Sebastian Paredes has submitted his resignation as president director, which will be effective after the shareholders meeting slated for April," the statement to the stock exchange said.

Danamon shares fell as much as 4.8 percent on market talk of his resignation and were trading down 2.9 percent at 0424 GMT, while the broader market lost just 0.4 percent.

A Danamon spokeswoman declined to comment pending a press conference scheduled for 1300 (0600 GMT).

The bank is controlled by a consortium which includes Singapore state investor Temasek Holdings and Deutsche Bank.
