TRADING VOLUME AT MORE THAN ONE-YEAR LOW
Daily transaction volume shrank to its lowest since late August, 2008, coming in at 263 million shares worth 3.7 trillion won ($3.14 billion).

Foreign investors bought a net 103 billion won worth of stocks. Retail investors sold a net 80 billion won worth of shares and local institutions unloaded a net 42 billion won.
Advancers led decliners 541 to 257, with 80 counters ending unchanged.
The KOSPI 200 December futures index <KSc1> rose 2.95 points to 205.75, while the KOSPI 200 spot index <.KS200> ended up 4.05 points at 207.18.
The junior Kosdaq market <.KQ11> added 1.07 percent to finish at 483.87 points.
Kosdaq-listed Seoul Semiconductor <046890.KQ> jumped 5.35 percent after Singapore's state investor Temasek Holdings said it would buy 284.7 billion won worth of shares in the South Korean light emitting diode (LED) maker and its affiliate. [ID:nSEO35282]
