Australia Sept retail sales fall 0.2 pct

Retail turnover at current prices:

Quarterly retail turnover in chain volume terms:
(A$ billion) Q3 Q2 q/q pct Q3'08
Seasonally adj 56.95 57.19 -0.4 55.16
A Reuters poll showed market forecasts centred on a rise of 0.4 percent month on month, seasonally adjusted, and a fall of 0.4 percent quarter on quarter.
