TAIPEI, Nov 3 - Taiwan stocks ended 0.17 percent lower on Tuesday as investors pocketed gains in technology companies such as Hon Hai <2317.TW>, which have benefitted from solid quarterly earnings.
The main TAIEX share index <.TWII> finished 12.25 points lower at 7,322.93, hitting a fresh one-month closing low and extending a five-session losing streak.
Electronics parts giant Hon Hai dropped 1.53 percent, while the electronics sub-index <.TELI> fell 0.29 percent.
