AIG says won't sell two Japan units Edison and Star
Published: 30 Oct 2009 00:21:29 PSTTOKYO, Oct 30 - American International Group Inc said on Friday it would not sell its two Japanese insurers AIG Edison Life Insurance and AIG Star Life Insurance.
Saved from bankruptcy by a U.S. government bailout, AIG had earlier said it would sell its Japanese life insurance businesses.
