JAKARTA, Oct 29 - Indonesia's annual inflation will be almost unchanged in October from September, and the central bank will hold interest rates at 6.5 percent, anticipating higher price pressures in coming months, a Reuters poll showed.

The poll of 13 analysts forecast annual inflation at 2.82 percent in October, against 2.83 percent in September and 2.75 percent in August. A strengthening rupiah <IDR=>, Asia's best performing currency this year, has helped reduce price pressure on imported goods, especially food, analysts said.

They also expected the central bank to keep its benchmark rate <BIPG> steady for the third month in a row when it reviews its rate policy on Wednesday. The central bank has cut rates by 300 basis points since December 2008. Following are the results of the October 26-29 poll. The consumer price index, imports, and exports reflect percentage changes. The trade balance is in billions of dollars and the rate shows the expected level of the key rate after Bank Indonesia's meeting on Nov. 4 and at year-end.
