TAIPEI, Oct 23 - Taiwan stocks ended up 0.54 percent on Friday following a rebound on Wall Street, with Acer leading gains after its chairman said he expects Acer to boost revenue by more than 70 percent over the next three years.
The main TAIEX shares index recouped early losses to close up 41.35 points at 7,649.28, after logging its worst single day drop in two weeks on Thursday.
Acer Inc, the world's No. 2 PC brand, rose 0.97 percent. The computer and peripheral equipment sub-index advanced 0.53 percent.
