WASHINGTON, Oct 22 - President Barack Obama on Thursday welcomed a decision by U.S. pay czar Kenneth Feinberg to slash compensation for firms receiving government bailout money, saying he found it offensive to hear of huge bonuses at such firms.
Obama said Feinberg was taking "an important step forward" in curbing the pay on Wall Street but that more needs to be done.
