China c.bank confirms Zhu Min as vice governor
Published: 22 Oct 2009 02:12:58 PSTBEIJING, Oct 22 - The People's Bank of China has appointed Zhu Min, formerly an executive vice president at Bank of China <601988.SS> <3988.HK>, as its sixth vice governor, the central bank said on Thursday.
Media reports have portrayed Zhu's switch as a stepping stone to a senior position at the International Monetary Fund, where China is seeking to increase its influence. [ID:nSHA314106]
