TAIPEI, Oct 22 - Taiwan stocks fell 1.21 percent on Thursday as investors locked in recent gains in technology exporters including Mediatek, but tourism shares rose amid signs of improving relations between Taiwan and China.
The main TAIEX share index closed 93.57 points lower at 7,607.93, posting its biggest daily percentage fall in two weeks.
Chip designer Mediatek slid 4.36 percent, with the electronics sub-index down 1.25 percent.
