TAIPEI, Sept 29 - Taiwan stocks opened 1.39 percent higher on Tuesday, with TSMC leading technology heavyweights following gains on Wall Street.
The main TAIEX share index rose 101.23 percent to 7,385.84, reversing losses in the previous session.
Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co Ltd , the world's largest contract chip maker, rose 2.64 percent, with the electronics sub-index up 1.78 percent.
