BANGKOK, Sept 2 - State-controlled Thai media firm MCOT PCL <MCOT.BK> said on Wednesday it expected 2009 revenue to rise 5-7 percent, helped by an expected rise in television advertising spending as business confidence improves.
"We aim for 5-7 percent revenue growth this year, largely because we expect ad spending in the second half to pick up now that economic data has improved," Tanawat Wansom, its new president, told reporters. ($1=34.00 Baht)
