MANILA, Aug 27 - The Philippines said on Thursday the economy should surpass a growth target of 2.6-3.6 percent for 2010.
"Yes, higher than forecast," Dennis Arroyo, head of policy planning at the National Economic and Development Authority, told reporters when asked about possible growth in 2010.
"Recession (globally) is ending faster than expected."
