Australia's central bank: global outlook better
Published: 13 Aug 2009 16:17:59 PSTCANBERRA, Aug 14 - The outlook for the global economy looked "distinctly better" than a few months ago, Australia's central bank Governor Glenn Stevens said on Friday.
Stevens, in semi-annual testimony to parliament, said Australia's economy was also stronger than expected a few months ago.
