SHANGHAI, July 23 - China shares rose 0.97 percent to a fresh 13-month closing high on Thursday, lifted by bank and property shares on expectations of ample liquidity fuelled by strong lending growth.
The Shanghai Composite Index ended at 3,328.490 points. Turnover in Shanghai A shares was 194.9 billion yuan ($28.54 billion), down from the previous day's heavy 231.6 billion yuan.
