Seoul shares at 10-mth closing high; techs, banks up =2

Domestic institutions bought a net 390.3 billion won worth of shares and retail investors sold a net 923.9 billion won.

Advancers led decliners by 665 to 157, with 58 counters ending flat.

A total of 499 million shares worth 6.2 trillion won changed hands, compared with 397 million shares worth 4.4 trillion won traded on Friday.

The KOSPI 200 September futures index <KSc1> ended up 5.10 points at 192.40, while the KOSPI 200 spot index <.KS200> rose 5.09 points to 192.25.

The junior Kosdaq market <.KQ11> gained 1.6 percent to 493.62 points.
