MANILA, June 17 - Philippines gross international reserves at the end of May totalled a record $39.589 billion, revised central bank figures showed on Wednesday.
The revised figure compared with $39.318 billion reported previously for May and April reserves of $39.316 billion.
The central bank expects gross international reserves to rise in 2009 to $39 billion from $37.55 billion in 2008.
