WASHINGTON, June 15 - Bonds that the International Monetary Fund is considering selling would not be traded on the market, an IMF spokesman said on Monday.
The spokesman was clarifying comments made earlier on Monday by IMF Managing Director Dominique Strauss-Kahn that the bonds would be tradable.
The spokesman said the IMF envisions that the bonds would be traded among central banks, but would not be marketable securities sold to investors.
