NEW YORK, April 30 - The dollar extended gains against the euro on Thursday after a report showed business activity in the U.S. Midwest in April contracted at a less severe rate than expected.
The euro was last down 0.4 percent on the day at $1.3211, compared with $1.3225 before the report was released.
