GUATEMALA CITY, April 27 - Authorities in Guatemala are testing a patient for a suspected case of swine flu on Monday, a hospital director in the capital said.
Dr. Hector Font told local radio a 29-year-old, who had been in Mexico recently, had symptoms similar to those seen in hundreds of patients in the neighboring country, where the virus has killed 103 people.
Guatemala is checking all travelers arriving from Mexico for signs of flu and stopping anyone with symptoms of the virus at border crossings.
