NISSAN (China) plans to recall 431 cars from tomorrow due to an airbag defect.
The 431 Infiniti G35s being recalled were manufactured between May 12 and October 19, 2007.
Nissan (China) Investment Co Ltd submitted a recall report to the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine recently, Youth Daily reported today.
A sensor system malfunction may prevent the passenger-side airbag from working properly, which would endanger a passenger in the event of a crash.
Nissan said no injuries or crashes have been reported due to the problem and that free inspections and maintenance would take place starting tomorrow, the report said.
Owners of Infiniti G35s can call 800-880-9090 or 400-880-9090 for more information.
