Drinktec 2009 to focus on wine and spirits processing

The event, drinktec 2009, will be highlighting the necessary technology required in all the wine and spirits applications during September 14-19, 2009, at New Munich Trade Fair Centre.

The event, which is one of the biggest trade fairs for beverage and liquid food technology, would be displaying a whole range of tried-and-tested procedures that are available in the market for trub management. These include various filters, presses and centrifuges. On around 1,00,000 sq m of space, it would display the latest process technology used for processing beverages, milk, liquid food, beer and malt.

Drinktec 2009 has also set its focus on the packaging technologies used for both spirits and wine. It would display the flexible modular-construction machines, self-adhesive labels, and also discuss new ideas like spirits in PET and bag-in-box wine packaging. It would showcase the latest trends with the beverages industry and discuss the subject of closures, since the industry needs an appropriate answer for glass or cork closures.

Many other matters of interest, in particular the kind of machines that are best suitable for individual solutions, will be showcased at drinktec - in live demonstrations and fully functional operation.
