28 cited for technical innovations in China's Packaging Industry


















Ringier's International Packaging News for China, the leading packaging industry magazine in China, announced the winners of the 2009 Ringier Technology Innovation Awards for Packaging Industry on July 16 in Shanghai during the ProPak China exhibition held at Shanghai New International Expo Center.

Selected by a panel of experts, the 28 latest technologies are honored for their contribution to the success of China's packaging industry in the areas of packaging printing, packaging materials, packaging application and packaging converting.

The Ringier Technology Innovation Award is held annually as a tribute to companies in key industries such as food&beverage, packaging, plastics and metalworking. The Awards recognize those who have made the most significant contributions for the advancement of the industry through productivity increase, economic efficiency, market opportunity creation, and production process. All winners are selected by a group of independent judges composed of well-known industrial experts. Since 2005, the Awards have been duly acknowledged as one of the most prestigious in China in the industries covered.

Among the Metalworking industry experts and executives who attended the special ceremony were  Mr. Brendan Jennings, General Manager of China International Exhibition; Mr. Zhang Yaoquan，Chairman, Zhejiang Province Packaging Technology Association; Mr. Wang Zhixing, Secretary-general, China Packaging Technology Association Paper Products Committee; Mr. Bian Nanjie, Director, PMMI China Office, Mr. Dave Chan, Editor-in-Chief, Ringier Trade Publishing Ltd and Mr. Bruno Wase-Bailey, General Manager of Ringier Trade Publishing Ltd.
