For its 25th hotel in the U.S., Starwood Hotels-owned W enlisted designer Dianna Wong to revamp the interior of the former Hotel Washington, making sure to preserve its iconic Beaux Arts architecture style. She did so by adding vibrant colors--like the chain's signature purple--and modern furnishings to the space. Along with 317 guestrooms and 31 suites, the hotel plays host to POV (Point of View), a rooftop bar and lounge with views of the White House; J&G Steakhouse, part of legendary chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten's group, and a Bliss Spa featuring the brand's signature facials and pedicures. A savvy choice in a city of spin doctors.
