1. Can I change my nickname?

No, your nickname cannot be changed once it is set

2. How do I activate my Signature Promotion?

You can take the following steps to activate your Signature Promotion:

1.     Sign in to My Alibaba at (http://us.my.alibaba.com/)

2.     Click "Signature Promotion" on the left side and a new pop-up window will appear

3.     Select "Renewal preference" and "Automatically renew every week"

4.     Click "Submit"

3. Why can't I reply to or comment on some of the postings?

Postings/replies usually fail for one of the following reasons:

Ÿ    Some postings are locked, which means they cannot be replied to. You can see the "Locked topic" symbol at the end of locked promotions

Ÿ    Only moderators and/or authorized members can post and/or reply

Ÿ    The article or thread to which you are replying has been locked or deleted

Ÿ    Your current amount of Member Value Points is not sufficient to post/reply

4. Why can't I reply to all of the postings?

Make sure that you have signed in with your Member ID and password. You cannot reply to a posting if you are not signed in. Please also make sure that you have enough Member Value Points to reply. Find detailed Posting and Moderation Rules at:

5. Why can't I post a new topic?

All members can start a new topic within General Trade Discussions. If you can't post a new topic, please make sure that you have signed in with your Member ID and password. Please also make sure that you have enough Member Value Points. Find detailed Posting and Moderation Rules at:

6. Why has my posting been deleted?

Once Alibaba.com (or its designated moderator) determines your posting infringes our User Agreement, we will delete the posted information without notice. Please refer to our User Agreement (Section 5) for details. If you have questions about why your post has been deleted by the moderator, please contact the moderator directly in the appropriate discussion board.

7. Why has my posting been moved?

If Alibaba.com (or its designated moderator) determines your posting is more appropriate in another category, it can be moved without notice to the poster.

8. How do I modify/delete my posting?

Only moderators can modify or delete postings. Please contact the moderator to delete your posting.

9. What types of postings are prohibited?
