Your Sign-in Seal is a unique message or image that you select to help protect your account from phishing websites. Phishing (fraudulent) websites copy legitimate websites. These websites are designed to steal your password or personal information.

After creating a Sign-in Seal for your computer, you can be sure you're on the legitimate Alibaba.com site each time you sign in to Alibaba.com. Simply check whether the customised text or image is displayed on the Alibaba.com webpage. If it's not there, you may have signed in to a fake Alibaba.com site.

Your Sign-in Seal is only saved on the computer you created it on. If you use more than one computer or browser, you need to create a Sign-in Seal for each computer.

Important: Never create a Sign-in Seal on a public computer.
