Why are attachments in JPEG or GIF format only?

We limit attachments to JPEG and GIF format in order to minimize the risk of viruses. Viruses are easily attached and hidden in files of other formats. Therefore, we recommend that you convert other file formats into JPEG or GIF format in order to attach them to your message.

Alternatively, you can send files to trade partners using TradeManager or their email address. TradeManager allows you to send files of any size.
