What are Buying Leads?

Buying Leads are wanted ads or purchase requests posted online by buyers. Buying Leads are an invitation from buyers to suppliers to send their quotes for manufacturing/supplying the buyer with the products they want.

Many of our suppliers display a lot of their products online; however they don’t always display their entire product range. Buying Leads allow you to tell suppliers exactly what you want to buy so only the right suppliers contact you.

When you post your Buying Leads, you can specify your preferred method of contact or hide your company details to prevent unwanted attention.

To post Buying Leads and hide your contact details, please take the following steps:

1. Sign in at My Alibaba at http://us.my.alibaba.com/
2. Click Post a New Buying Lead in the Buying Tools section
3. Complete the simple form
4. In the Contact Preference section, please select Allow all Suppliers to contact me by email only. Hide my other Contact Details
5. Click Submit to post your Buying Lead online

If you are not currently a member, you can post Buying Leads from many pages by clicking one of our Post a Buying Lead now links on Alibaba.com. Complete the simple registration form and then post a Buying Lead online as a Free Member of Alibaba.com.
 

Upon publication, suppliers will be able to view and respond to your Buying Lead. Supplier replies will be sent to your Message Center in My Alibaba.
