Galler, the renowned Belgian chocolate brand, has expanded its presence in the UAE with a new-look Chocolat-The at Dubai's Mall of the Emirates, taking the total number of its retail stores to eight.
The new store is a concession at Virgin Megastore, near Ski Dubai, on the ground floor of the mall.
Guillaume Motte, chief executive officer, Al Tayer Trends, said the chocolate lovers now have one more reason to shop for Galler chocolates. 'The new-look Chocolat-The features a chocolate bar with more than 100 types of chocolates and an inviting tasting area in the brand's colours - orange, white and black, filled with the delicious aroma of fresh chocolate.”
'The Chocolat-The concept pioneered by the creator of the brand, Belgian Royal Warrant holder Jean Galler, presents customers with a relaxed ambience to enjoy chocolates - made using only natural ingredients, chocolate drinks and an extensive menu with breakfast options, and healthy dining choices including soups, salads, roll breads, ciabatta, pastries, crepes, ice cream, coffee and tea.'
Galler's 2,100 sq feet outlet at Mall of the Emirates is the first to retail the brand's Les Terriennes line, which completes the Les elementaires range of chocolates, inspired by the four basic elements – fire, water, air and earth.
The Les Terriennes line has been developed with a ‘Return to the Roots' theme and features exotic flavours such as Ginseng, Galanga, Betterave and Gingembre.
Ginseng, which is renowned for its rejuvenating effects, combines with chocolate to release a gentle flavour. Galanga extract adds a bit of spice to milk chocolate to bring about an unexpected twist in the tale.
Betterave features a lightly peppered beetroot mousse heart with a dark chocolate shell, while Gingembre includes the intriguing combination of Ginger and Carrot, he noted.
Galler stores also offer four recent chocolate tablet creations titled Blended, Heritage, Inventive and Virtuous. Blended tablets explore the fascinating result of blending various cocoa beans from around the world.
