Ringier Honors Food & Beverage Industry Innovators

27 cited for technical  innovation in the Food&Beverage Industry in China, including 4 companies recognized for food safety initiatives

Ringier’s China Food Manufacturing Journal, the leading food industry magazine in China, announced the winners of the 2009 Ringier Technology Innovation Awards for Food&Beverages Industry on June 25 in Shanghai at a special ceremony at the Renaissance Shanghai Pudong Hotel.
Twenty-seven of the latest technologies were selected by a panel of experts and honored for their contribution to the success of China's food and beverage industry in the areas of Ingredients, Packaging, Processing, and Food Safety. This year's awardees were particularly notable for their role in offering technologies featuring safety, health care and environment protection. The winners include market leaders such as Cargill, CNI, Dow, DSM, Bosch, Cognex, Krones AG, Sidel, Heat&Control Group, S+S Inspection, and Thermo Fisher.
The Ringier Technology Innovation Award is held annually as a tribute to companies in key industries such as food&beverage, packaging, plastics and metalworking. The Awards recognize those who have made the most significant contributions for the advancement of the industry through productivity increase, economic efficiency, market opportunity creation, and production process. All winners are selected by a group of independent judges composed of well-known industrial experts. Since 2005, the Awards have been duly acknowledged as one of the most prestigious in China in the industries covered.
