Pattabhi Rama Rao gets Udyog Rattan Award

AwardPattabhi Rama Rao, president, Australian Foods (I) Pvt Ltd - the maker of Cookie Man cookies - has been honoured with the 'Udyog Rattan Award' and 'Excellence Award' joining the ranks of other leading Indian industrialists who have received this prestigious honour. The awards were the culmination of the 'Indo Thai Economic Co-operation' seminar, organised recently by Delhi-based Institute of Economic Studies (IES).

The awards were conferred in recognition of Rao's outstanding performance and success as an entrepreneur in the rapidly evolving food&beverage (F&B) industry. The awards were presented to him by Korn Dabbaransi, former deputy prime minister of Thailand at a glittering ceremony held at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi.

Rao is known for his extensive knowledge of F&B retail industry from both national and international perspective. Accepting the award, Rao said, "I am honoured to receive this award, which is a tribute to all our employees. Cookie Man is where it is today not just because of our products but also because of adherence to a set of core values, which transcends its employees across the country. I am immensely pleased that our efforts have been recognised. I would like to thank all the people who supported me."
